Visas are not required for individuals from most EU countries and the USA – EU citizens for social stays of up to three months and US citizens for social and study-related visits of any duration. Visitors do need a valid passport and either a return ticket or prove they have enough funding for a return trip. Business visas are required, and costs change often – check with the local embassy before travelling.
